Van Tassell Family

There is so much that has gone on this past year that I don't know where to start, but there is one thing that has been by far the most exciting thing that has ever happened to us, becoming a mother and a father. On September 15, 2007 Reg and I had our first child, Xaiden Michael Van Tassell. He has been by far the best gift and blessing our Heavenly Father could of placed in our hands. It sure has been fun getting to raise this sweet little spirit. Xaiden is now almost 5 month olds and is getting quite the personality. He loves to tell us stories and is becoming a giggler. I have been very fortunate to get to stay home with him and be a mommy for him. I couldn't imagine it any other way.

Reg is going to pilot school and loving every minute of it. He hasn't been able to do as much flying as he would like becuase of funds for schooling but he is doing as much as he can. I was a little hesitant for Reg to go to pilot school and be away from family but I now know how much he loves it and how happy it makes him. I am so glad that he is doing what he loves and has a passion for. We haven't got to go up in the helicopter but he can't wait for the day when he will get to take Xaiden flying.

Xaiden got to try pears and bannanas for the first time. He wasn't a big fan of bannanas but he sure loved his pears.

All full of smiles and laughs

Happy Happy Happy Birthday Reg!!!

What a fun Birthday we have had. This last weekend we went up to Idaho and had a snowmobiling and tubing party with my family and celebrated Reg's birthday. We went to Johnson's Hill and my Uncle Bruce and there families came. We had a fire with hot cocoa and roasted hot dogs. It was so much fun. Xaiden didn't get to go tubing this year but he was lucky to get to sit in the suburban with his Grandma Bell and play with her. We bundled him out for a minute so he could check things out and it wasn't before to long he fell asleep, so back in the suburban he went. On Sunday we celebrated Reg's birthday and had a yummy ice cream cake and opened up gifts.

Yesterday was Reg's Offical Birthday day. I asked him if he was excited to be turning 27 and he said that he was a little sad that he was another year older and hadn't accomplished as much as he would of liked with school and education, But was glad that he wasn't 28 and still a year younger.

I through a little party together with some friends from down here and it was alot of fun. Reg chose to have BLT's, brownies and ice cream for his birthday. Later we played Uno attack and Jenga. Oh what a fun time we had.
