I feel like I have so much to be grateful for this year and espcially during this holiday season. For Thanksgiving we went to Reg's parent's house in Utah and spent the day there with them and his brothers and sisters and there spouses. After we stuffed our faces(which the food was so delicious thanks everyone) we went out to the feedlot and shot clay pigeons which was pretty fun even though I decided not to show the boys up this year and to play with Xaiden. Maybe next year huh?!?! Be ready boys. After that we went back to the house to eat pie and icecream and visit until we had to travel back to Idaho to go to my cousins and friends wedding the next day.
The wedding was beatiful and it was so neat to see Brady and Lindsey get sealed for all time and eternity in the Twin Falls Temple. What a special day that was and I was so glad to get to share that special day with them. The temple is such a beautiful place and the peace that you feel is like no other.
After the wedding we went to a reception later on that night which was alot of fun. They had a yummy food and a band which was really good. Xaiden loved the band. He kept going up to the stage dancing and trying to snap his fingers to the beat of the music. What a cute little boy he was. The guitar player even brought his guitar down to his level and played with him. The cousins and parents danced the night away until about midnight when it finally ended.. Overall it was a great day having fun with friends and family and boogying all night long.
The next day Reg and I went to the temple with a few of my aunts and uncles and my grandpa to do family sealings. Earlier that day I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to go becuase I didn't have temple clothes and at the Twin Falls temple you can't rent them so I was kind of out of luck. I figured that earlier that day I would go to my grandpa's store to see if I coudl find a dress that I liked. When I showed up at the store one of the workers told me that Lindsey had left her temple dress in the back for me to use. I was so grateful becuase I wasn't planning on going becuase I didn't have a dress and to top it off I didn't find one there either. So I just knew there was a reason why I needed to go because everything just feel into place for me. So I was able to go with everyone and it was such a special experience for me. My grandpa Bell had never before been sealed to his parents and so I was able to be there for that and Reg and I were able to stand in has his parents and to share that very special moment with my grandpa. I have always been thankful for temples but this experience really hit home for me. I am so thanful for the oppurtunity to do temple work and to be worthy to do so. I am thankful for families and that families can be together forever.
I am so thankful for this gospel and for my savior Jesus Christ. I am thankful for eternal families and for good friends. I am so Blessed.
